First stop is the Temple of Philae, which was moved in its entirety to its current location to save it from the waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Then visit the Aswan High Dam itself, which gave birth to Lake Nasser, one of the world's largest man-made lakes. Finally, enjoy Aswan's lively bazaar, a great place to shop for souvenirs, perfumes and spices.
You will then be escorted to the pier to board the MS Amoura, a 5-Star Dahabiya. Enjoy lunch on board while sailing silently toward Kom Ombo. Dinner on board, and your first night on the water at Kom Ombo.

After a leisurely breakfast on board, disembark for a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, a Greco-Roman temple that is essentially two temples, built to honor two different gods.
Return to the Dahabiya for lunch while sailing toward Gebel el Silsila, one of Egypt's less frequented ancient sites. After a brief stop, the boat crosses the river and ties up beside the ancient rock-hewn Speos of Horemheb, a site the large cruise ships cannot reach.
If the weather is favorable, enjoy dinner in the grounds of the illuminated temple. Otherwise dinner is served on the upper deck with a perfect view of the lit-up temple, with soft music. Overnight on board.

After breakfast, disembark and travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Edfu. Buried under the sand for roughly 2,000 years, it is now the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt.
Then visit the nearby bazaar, either on foot or by carriage, stopping wherever you like. Return to the MS Amoura and sail to a tiny island in the Nile, where everyone disembarks for dinner and Egyptian entertainment. If the weather doesn't permit, dinner is served on the sundeck.
Later in the evening, the boat sails slowly toward Esna, where you spend the night on board.

Breakfast on board. Check out and disembark, then an air-conditioned vehicle will take you to Luxor.
First stop is the Valley of the Kings, a vast ancient necropolis with more than 70 royal tombs. Next, the rock-cut Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, then the Colossi of Memnon. Finally, visit Karnak Temple, a temple city that kept growing for about 2,000 years as every new ruler added to it.
After your Luxor tour, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station, depending on your travel plans.
