Itinerary information
Day 01: Flight from Cairo to Luxor - Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON
Our representative will meet you at the lobby of your hotel to transfer you to Cairo airport to take your flight to Luxor.
Upon arrival at Luxor airport, transfer to your Nile cruise. Embarkation before 12:00 PM.
Afternoon, you will discover the East bank of Luxor including Karnak Temples Complex, the largest structures ever built in the history of mankind. The principal building is that of the god Amun Ra, since it was considered the house of god on earth.
Later on, you will visit Luxor Temple, built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the well-known king Ramses II. After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred back to your ship for rest and refreshment. At night, an Egyptian folkloric show will be operated by the staff. Dinner will be served and overnight in Luxor.

Day 02: Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu & ON
Breakfast on the Nile cruise. After that you will start your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land, by exploring the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, where the Pharaohs were buried.
After that, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, one of the most wonderful examples of architecture in ancient Egypt, as it was carved into the mountain.
At the end of the tour you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, which belong to king Amenhotep III.
Then you will return to your ship for lunch. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 03: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Sail to Aswan & ON
Breakfast on the cruise. Then the guide will take you on a journey to the land of secrets. Today's tour begins with one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered one of the best preserved temples in Egypt.
After that, you will return to your ship. Lunch will be served on board while sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.
Afternoon, you will explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. Then get back to your ship and enjoy your time on the sun deck, watching the unique landscape of the great River Nile, on whose banks the ancient Egyptian civilization was created and flourished.
After the tour, rest and refresh on board. Dinner will be served on board while sailing to the city of Aswan. Late evening arrival in Aswan and overnight.

Day 04: Aswan Tours - Aswan ON
Breakfast will be served on board your ship. Later on, you will join your Egyptologist tour guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including the High Dam, built by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 to protect Egypt from the Nile flood.
After that, you will enjoy sailing on the Nile by motor boat to Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae, built during the Graeco-Roman period and dedicated to the goddess Isis (mother of the god Horus).
Finally, you will visit one of the marvelous sights in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra.
After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your ship. Lunch will be served on board, and afternoon tea as well. At night free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 05: Optional Abu Simbel Tour - Departure Flight to Cairo
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast.
Optional (not included): Departure to visit the Temples of Abu Simbel. The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II (19th Dynasty) and later saved from the rising waters of the Nile, is among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff, and the deities to which each was dedicated are carved on its huge façade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of Nefertari, the king's wife, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Back to Aswan.
Transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Cairo.
