Upon arrival in Luxor, your tour manager will meet you at the airport or railway station, and a driver will take you in an air-conditioned vehicle to board the luxurious Merit Dahabiya. Check in, and enjoy your first on-board lunch around midday, prepared by the boat's chef with a variety of Egyptian and international dishes.
After lunch, visit Luxor's East Bank to see Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple complex. Then return to the Dahabiya to relax before dinner. Overnight on board in Luxor.

After a hearty breakfast, visit Luxor's West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, a vast royal necropolis with more than 60 tombs, the rock-cut Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Return to your Dahabiya for lunch, then sail toward Esna. No excursion is scheduled this afternoon, so relax, enjoy bird watching, the open-air Jacuzzi, or drinks in the lounge. Afternoon tea is served on the sundeck around 3:00 PM. Dinner is served while sailing, and the boat ties up beside a small island near Esna for the night.

An early start: enjoy breakfast while the Dahabiya crosses the Esna Lock, an interesting experience in itself. Then sail toward Edfu, with lunch served along the way.
Depending on the wind, the boat arrives at Edfu shortly after lunch for a visit to the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt. Then return to the Dahabiya and sail to Al Ramady Island, where the boat ties up for the night. Dinner is served on board.

Wake early to enjoy the view from the deck. Breakfast is served while sailing toward Aswan via El Sheikh Fadl Island. Enjoy lunch on board while sailing.
Shortly after lunch you arrive at the island, where you will have afternoon tea and dinner. Afterward, board the Dahabiya again and sail on to Aswan, where it ties up for your last night on the water.

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Philae, which was moved in its entirety to higher ground to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Then visit the Aswan High Dam itself.
Finally, return to the Dahabiya to check out and collect your belongings. You will then be escorted to the airport or train station, depending on your onward travel plans.
