Itinerary information

Day 01: Luxor East Bank - Luxor ON

Upon arrival at Luxor airport, transfer to your Nile cruise. Embarkation before 12:00 PM.
In the afternoon, discover the East Bank of Luxor, including Karnak Temples Complex, the largest structures ever built in the history of mankind, and Luxor Temple, built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by Ramses II. Return to your ship for rest. At night, an Egyptian folkloric show will be operated by the staff. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 02: Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu & ON

Breakfast on the cruise. Then explore the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the Theban kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Return to your ship for lunch. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 03: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Sail to Aswan & ON

Breakfast on the cruise. Today's tour begins with the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Then return to your ship. Lunch will be served on board while sailing to Kom Ombo.
In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were worshipped. Return to your ship and enjoy the sun deck, watching the landscape of the Nile. Dinner will be served on board while sailing to Aswan. Late evening arrival in Aswan and overnight.

Day 04: Aswan Tours - Aswan ON

Breakfast on board. Join your Egyptologist guide to discover Aswan, including the High Dam, built in 1960 to protect Egypt from the Nile flood. Then sail by motor boat to Agilika Island to visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Finally, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, made of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra.
Return to your ship for lunch and afternoon tea. At night free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 05: Optional Abu Simbel Tour - Departure

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast.
Optional (not included): visit the Temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II and later saved from the rising waters of the Nile, and the nearby small Temple of Queen Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Back to Aswan, then transfer to the airport for your flight.
